Bible Trivia App Reviews

The questions are very challenging. I like the premise but really they need difficulty levels. Also some of the book and chapter references are off. The graphics layout could be designed better. Really this just doesnt wow me. But I appreciate the effort to provide us with some biblical fun.

I just have a request for this perfect app. I would love it if we could listen to music while playing this. :) Also its not ABOSULTELY flawless. I came across an error in the Revalation Section. Ill type it up so that you guys can find it and fix it. This is exactly what it says (ow not how): ow long did the nations look upon the dead bodies of the two witnesses in Revelation 11? (Revelation 11:9). That was the question and it says ow rather than how. Just go check it out and God bless you. :-)

Good Content, but user interface needs work. You need a "back" button or some way to stop or pause the game and save your score. Continuous play has no terminus. How about more options, like "5 strikes and out" or "total correct vs. total attempted" etc? Also, the home screen has a category, "Revelations" plural. I dont know if that is supposed to be the book of Revelation, or if it is about revelations as is in there are a number of things revealed to us in scripture...but whenever I see someone use the word "Revelations" plural, I wonder how much they know about their bible. THis game has tremendous potential. People need to know the minutia as well as the major stories in the Bible and this game could make learning that material fun. I am looking forward to further upgrades....

Questions are challenging, and its a blessing to have games like this that accomplish good and dont just waste time. Things that need to be fixed: 1)Sometimes the text given for a wrong answer doesnt relate to the question or doesnt substantiate the right answer. 2)The last game I played I was at one strike and answered the next question. First I got the "God bless you" response, then a listing of strike three along with peals of thunder that wouldnt stop. I tried selecting "Play Again" but the thunder didnt stop. I had to close the game to stop the thunder. SUGGESTION: I would much rather have a response like "try again" or "youd better study some more" than a clap of thunder for wrong answers. My God doesnt strike me dead when I make an attempt and fail, and I dont think a game should imply that either. Otherwise, keep up the good work of offering constructive Bible games!

All I can say is fantastic!!! I love it!!! It keeps me sharp!

Just installed the app & so far so good. But, I agree with a previous reviewer, that thunder clap has got to go! Sheesh!! I look forward to updates to the interface in aformentioned reviews. Cheers & God bless!

Fun way to learn the bible!

Its a fun game to play if you have a minute to spare.

Its a great game, very knowledgeable in the fact that it gives you the scriptures to the asked question even when u get it wrong or right. If u love the Lord and u want to grow in him through his Word, then this is the app for you!!! Enjoy because I sure am...

This app has par question. Theres no goal other than answering questions for points.

So far, its the best bible trivia thats out. Deep and challenging questions that can help with the study of Gods word.

Much better since the update

I do appreciate a game where I can learn more about the Bible. Not worth $2.99, though. And maybe some random responses, other than "God bless you" all the time. The first time is great, but after that, not so much.

The update is a blessing! This is a GREAT app and have lots of fun playing this game - I recomend at least three a day! I enjoy the top score, the questions are factual. The look of the game is an added bonus. They have really interesting categories from the Bible. The sound effects when you get a correct and/or incorrect answer are a very nice touch. I have played Bible Trivia over 50 times with friends and family and have no function issues, it runs fine on my iPhone and my friend has an iPod and he has no issues. I highly recommend the purchase of this game for the unique style in which the developers have designed it...its for all who have even the slightest knowledge or interest in the Bible. I like the App but why does it not give the name of the book when it gives the scripture reference. The chapter and verse is not very useful without the chapter.

This is a really great game so far. I just started it today, and the questions appear really good in testing Bible knowledge, which I love. I also like the set up and how it gives a few options for game play. One thing that would be extremely helpful would be to add the Book of where Scriptures are taken from. While I know the Bible well, I still want to know and see the book the Scriptures are pertaining to - especially when they are from the Old Testament. There are so many Scripture references that we as believers are not always going to remember for sure what book they are in 100% of the time. I would love to return and give a 5-star rating once that update feature can be added. I see that as very important when it comes to learning Gods Word, and I would figure its very helpful to those who are just beginning their walk with Christ.

I thank God for giving the creator of this app the burden to create it. Also am extremely satisfied the the KJV bible is used and not any other PERversion. Thank you so much and God bless you.

just in the first few games I played, there were two questions with the WRONG answers. Whats weird is that it claims the correct answer is wrong but then posts scripture underneath that proves it is correct? NEVER trust bible software written by only one person.

I enjoy the challenge, BUT please label the answers with the book and verse of the Bible. Sometimes it helps to read it in context. Thanks.
